The things you need to know before going tiny. A huge benefit of a tiny home is that, unlike a granny flat, you don’t need a permit to install one.
All you need is a bit of land that’s prepared for installation. Before you install your tiny house, consider the following:
-
Has the land been leveled?
-
Is there sufficient access?
-
Do you have somewhere you can connect it for water and electricity?
-
If you want to live off-grid, have you considered an independent power source like solar panels?
-
Checklist of important things to know e.g. self-composting toilet, preparing the land and backyard approvals
Our team can help you figure out all this and more as you prepare to live tiny.
