Our design process is guided by the three principles of the Circular Economy:

3. Regenerate natural systems

Using a circular economy framework means that we:

1. Use pre-fabrication processes with our suppliers and in our warehouse to ensure minimal waste.

2. Choose recycled and recyclable building materials where possible.

3. Ensure our spaces are highly durable and repairable to last the tests of the Australian climate.

4. Use the best off grid solar and composting toilet systems to minimise our product’s footprint on the land.

We digitally 3D model the complete design before sending off the manufacturing drawings to our trusted suppliers.

These digital tools combined with advanced manufacturing processes like CNC routing and automated frame building – allow us to design to the millimetre and minimise our materials usage and carbon footprint.

The tiny home is then assembled and built in our warehouse, allowing us to avoid weather delays and create efficient work flows – decreasing costs and lead times for our customers.

We have spent several years perfecting this methodology & process to create the Tarkine & Ningaloo models to suit small footprint living. Perfecting these products allows us to pass on the time and cost savings to you.
